AMuZ.US updates (01/29/2010) Posted on January 29, 2010, by IamShipon1988 I know many of you have been seeing some odd things going on the AMuZ.US website. You might have seen a huge gap between contents or some random images or maybe even a floating button or text stating "Chat." I'm pretty sure all of you are confused out of your mind as to what's going on; I would be too. Well, let me explain it to you. Since the last update, there were several reports on bugs that were discovered. Before we launched the new version, I had few beta testers take the site for a spin. They found a number of things that were wrong and reported it. I fixed them a long with the coding team. But that test was done using a different database since we didn't want to mess the main AMuZ.US up. So when we converted everything for the new database, we ran into some problems. So for the past few weeks, we have been fixing those bugs. Then one day one of the staff came up with a nice idea (Cranicar). He said, hmm...why not have banners on every game category. At first my team was thinking that's just way too much work and we're tired. So I played around with the code a little and came up with a simple way to do that. So if you now go to any game category, you will see banners relating to that category. I think it looks pretty darn sexy. Now I'm working on developing a chat system. Something that will work fairly similar to the Facebook chat. So that all of you can talk amongst yourself. But I don't think I'll ever be able to get that done since it is a butt load of work and I barely have time. I guess I'll just let that idea slide. I received several e-mails about creating a AMuZ.US Facebook and Twitter page. I say it's a great idea but too much work for me to handle. Facebook group is simple to do, and I can do that; for Twitter, I think I will just use my twitter account.
